It seems we’re always on the go these days. Whether you’re running errands, in between meetings, or sitting in traffic, it’s important to have snacks on hand to ensure you don’t go hungry for extended periods of time. Anticipate your day and prepare your snacks in the morning.

When you ignore your hunger pangs and go for long periods of time without eating, you become susceptible to binge eating and making poor food choices. Going through a drive-thru may be the easiest option, but it’s not the healthiest. But if you prepare with sensible snacks, you’re likely to drive right past fast food chains.

Sliced fruit or vegetables with nut butter is a great mid-morning snack. Hummus, beef jerky, and cottage cheese are some other options to satisfy your hunger pains.
