Call your provider
If you have a change in your vision, see your provider. If you are planning to have a baby, make sure you are current on your German measles (rubella) vaccine. If you have never had German measles, be vaccinated at least 3 months prior to getting pregnant. If you do contract German measles (rubella) while pregnant, be certain to have your baby’s eyes examined by an eye specialist after birth as recommended because being exposed to German measles can make a baby vulnerable to cataracts and other eye problems.
