The DiabetesMine™ D-Data ExChange is a gathering of key innovators creating applications and platforms that leverage diabetes data to produce healthier outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, increase transparency to policy decision-makers and care teams, and improve prospects for patient engagement.
It was created as an offshoot of our annual DiabetesMine Innovation Summit in 2013, and in response to a groundswell of interest, this catalyst for the #WeAreNotWaiting movement has now become a bi-annual happening.
The most recent DiabetesMine D-Data ExChange took place on June 9, 2017, in San Diego, in association with the big annual American Diabetes Association conference happening there. This incredible 8th gathering of leading diabetes data and device experts, health data innovators, patient activists and regulatory experts focused on how industry is embracing patient-led innovation.
It featured a keynote by a notable MIT innovation scholar, and updates from Artificial Pancreas developers, the DIY #WeAreNotWaiting community, and the FDA – now calling for interoperability standards in diabetes devices!
Prior to that, our Fall 2016 event was held at UCSF’s Mission Bay biotech campus, bringing together a fantastic group of over 120 influencers in the #DData world.
The DiabetesMine D-Data ExChange events are supported by our valued industry sponsors, and content is created with the help of our friends at Tidepool and an Advisory Committee made up of entrepreneurs and representatives from Glooko, Livongo, One Drop and Timesulin.
