  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 dessert apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 red cabbage, sliced
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

Step by Step:

  1. Heat two tablespoons oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the red cabbage and fry for 2 minutes. Add the water, turn down low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil followed by the rest of the ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.
