Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 pounds Granny Smith apples, peeled, thinly sliced

Step by Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Add apples and toss to coat.
  3. Spoon mixture into a baking dish, cover and bake until apples are tender and just starting to fall apart, about 90 minutes.
