While I am thinking about
alcohol and teens, I would like to point my readers to a great new interactive resource for teens on
We're Talking Teen Health!
The resource is called
E-CHUG (electronic check-up to go) and it is an interactive web tool designed specifically for high school-age teens to examine and receive feedback on their own beliefs and behaviors related to alcohol use.
E-CHUG allows a teen to enter responses to questions and statements about alcohol use and, once completed, generates an informative, personalized report based on the information submitted.
It is a great way to start a conversation with your teen about alcohol use and risks associated with any use. Encourage your teen to try E-CHUG and then have a conversation about what they learned.
