The Wilderness Medical Society is holding its 19th Annual Winter Meeting at the Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah from February 5-9, 2011. You can learn more about the meeting and review the program details at http://www.wms.org/conferences/
The meeting promises to be a terrific continuing medical education (CME) event, with its focus on mountain medicine, wilderness education and Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. In addition to the classroom lectures, there will be two intensive, experiential courses: a Level I Avalanche Course and the Advanced Wilderness Life Support program. There will also be a MedWars session. The education and snow will be fantastic. If you are a medical professional interested in wilderness medicine, come out and enjoy the camaraderie, outstanding educational offerings, and superb skiing.
