Choosing in-season foods for tasty in-season meals.
It’s summertime, which means it’s really easy to plan your
meals based on what’s in season! More often than not, we buy our favorite foods
when they aren’t at their peak ripeness. This means we eat our foods when they
don’t taste their best, and we deserve more than that! Eating by season ensures
that my favorite foods taste as they should—delicious!
Luckily, summertime brings some of the tastiest foods that we know. It’s the time for berries, tomatoes, corn and one of my summer favorites: watermelon! Wondering which of your favorites are in season during the summer months? Check out the list below!

One of my go-to summer meals is a nice salad. Salads are crispy, refreshing, and they can be filling too! For a tasty summer salad, try this Watermelon Summer Salad. I found a delicious salad kit called the Dole Endless Summer Salad kit. The dressing is amazing! You can use it with this Beach Goers' Wrap Recipe.
To get your produce in season, visit the Farmer’s markets as often as possible, or look into delivery services in your area that deliver fresh produce to your door weekly! Eating by season is good for your body and the earth, so try a delicious meal today with the season’s tastiest foods!
