You can be led too easily, and blindly follow without questioning if something is best for you. Do your research and make an informed decision before committing to a wellness goal.

Sometimes you avoid something solely because it’s a trend. It’s OK to be skeptical, but don’t discount something simply to be adversarial. Do your research, and then make a decision.

You know yourself better than anyone else does.

You can be closed-minded. Don’t write something off until you can give it a first-hand stamp of approval—or disapproval. Challenge yourself to trying a new food or stress-relief technique.

You don’t waste your time on something that isn’t worth doing.

You can get caught up in the details and end up talking yourself out of a goal. Make a commitment up front: buy a three-month gym membership or 10-class card to a yoga studio.
