Taking Epinephrine with Ergot alkaloids can increase the risk of chest pain, high blood pressure, palpitations, or other serious side effects.

Do not take Ramelteon with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Taking Ramelteon with grapefruit or grapefruit juice can increase the amount of Ramelteon in the blood and can increase the risk of serious side effects. Swallow Ramelteon with some water within 30 minutes before you are ready to go to bed. Tell your health care professional if your sleep problem does not improve or gets worse.

Avoid alcoholic drinks while you are taking Ramelteon. Using Ramelteon with alcohol can lead to serious side effects. Do not drive or operate machinery if you are drinking alcohol-containing beverages. Tobacco smoke contains substances that may speed the removal of Ramelteon from the body; if you start smoking, Ramelteon may become less effective. Just the opposite occurs when someone stops smoking tobacco; if you stop smoking, the amount of Ramelteon in the blood may increase. Tell your health care professional if you smoke or plan to stop smoking while taking Ramelteon.

Avoid the combined use of these drugs within 24 hours of one another. Serious side effects from Serotonin-Receptor Agonists ("Triptans" or drugs used for migraine like Amerge, Axert, Imitrex, Maxalt, Relpax and Zomig) may get worse if you take Ergot Alkaloid related drugs. Taking these two drugs together could potentially lead to chest pain, confusion, loss of coordination, restlessness, sweating, tremor or other side effects. Ask your prescriber about the best approach should you need migraine therapy with a "Triptan" while taking Ergot Alkaloids.

Taking grapefruit juice with Ergot Alkaloids might increase the risk of nausea, nervousness, chest pain, high blood pressure, palpitations, or other serious side effects, like pain, numbness or reduced circulation to the hands, feet or legs. Ergot Alkaloids include, but are not limited to, Cafergot, Ergotrate, Ergostat, Hydergine, Methergine, Migranal, Sansert or Wigraine. It is best to avoid grapefruit juice while taking Ergot Alkaloids to reduce the chance of Ergot Alkaloid-related side effects.

It is recommended to avoid nicotine (examples: Nicotine patches or gum) and tobacco while taking any Ergot-type medications. Side effects from Ergot Alkaloids may get worse if you take Nicotine or if you smoke tobacco. Ergot Alkaloids include, but are not limited to, Cafergot, Ergotrate, Ergostat, Hydergine, Methergine, Migranal, Sansert or Wigraine. Side effects might include anxiety, chest pain, numbness in the fingers or toes, tingling, or vision changes.

Drinking alcohol beverages while taking Pyrazinamide, PZA can increase your risk of developing liver problems. It is best to avoid alcohol-containing beverages while taking Pyrazinamide, PZA. Your health care provider will need to do blood tests to check your liver before and during your treatment with Pyrazinamide, PZA. Discuss any new or worsening side effects, such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dark colored urine, or yellowing of eyes or skin, with your health care provider.

Limit excessive Caffeine intake (examples: coffee, teas, colas, chocolate and some herbal supplements) while taking Sympathomimetics and avoid medicines containing additional Caffeine whenever possible. Examples of Sympathomimetics include medicines used to treat asthma and other breathing problems like Albuterol, Arformoterol, Formoterol, Salmterol and others. Taking a high amount of Caffeine with the listed drugs can increase the risk of nausea, nervousness, palpitations, problems with sleep, rapid heartbeat, or other side effects.

You may feel drowsy or more tired when taking these drugs together. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how these drugs affect you. If you notice slurred speech, confusion, severe weakness, or difficulty breathing while taking these drugs, contact your health care provider immediately.

Tobacco smoking may reduce the effectiveness of Propoxyphene at treating pain, by speeding the removal of Propoxyphene from the body. Alternatively, if you take Propoxyphene e and suddenly stop smoking, you may feel drowsy or more tired, and should not drive or operate machinery until you know how Propoxyphene affects you. If you notice slurred speech, confusion, severe weakness, or difficulty breathing while taking Propoxyphene, contact your health care provider immediately.

You may feel drowsy or more tired when taking Anxiolytics, Sedatives, and Hypnotics with Sedating H1 blockers. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how these drugs affect you.

Alprostadil may increase the actions of Antihypertensive Agents. Antihypertensive Agents are drugs used to treat high blood pressure. If the blood pressure drops too low while taking these medications, you may become dizzy or feel faint. To limit this interaction, do not stand or sit up too quickly. Contact your prescriber if you have dizziness which does not go away.

Limit excessive Caffeine intake (examples: coffee, teas, colas, chocolate and some herbal supplements) while taking Epinephrine and avoid medicines containing additional Caffeine whenever possible. Taking a high amount of Caffeine with Epinephrine can increase the risk of nausea, nervousness, palpitations, problems with sleep, rapid heartbeat, or other side effects.

Taking Ramelteon with food, especially a high fat meal, or immediately after eating may prevent Ramelteon from working. Swallow Ramelteon with some water within 30 minutes before you are ready to go to bed. Tell your health care professional if your sleep problem does not improve or gets worse.

Avoid taking Sodium Bicarbonate with foods or beverages which contain a high sodium content (such as tomato juice or processed foods). Sodium Bicarbonate contains a significant amount of sodium in the oral solution. Talk to your health care provider about any dietary restrictions which are important in improving your health conditions.

Although an interaction is possible, Ethanol (alchohol) and Antihypertensive Agents (drugs used to reduce high blood pressure) may be used together. Ethanol or alchohol-containing beverages may increase the effects of Antihypertensive Agents on your blood pressure. If the blood pressure drops too low while taking Ethanol and Antihypertensive Agents, you may become dizzy or feel faint. To limit this interaction, avoid alcohol-containing beverages while taking medicines to lower your blood pressure. Do not stand or sit up too quickly. Contact your prescriber if you have dizziness which does not go away.

Avoid or limit alcoholic drinks while taking Isotretinoin. Side effects from Isotretinoin may get worse if you also drink alcohol-containing beverages while taking Isotretinoin therapy. In addition, alcohol may alter the results of blood test done to monitor Isotretinoin therapy; avoid alcoholic drinks for at least 36 hours before any orderd blood test.

Capecitabine should be taken with food.
