The use of Bisacodyl with milk or milk-food products (i.e., yogurt) can cause the coating of the Bisacodyl tablet to dissolve too quickly. This may lead to an upset stomach or a reduction in the amount of bisacodyl that is needed to relieve constipation. Take Bisacodyl on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 1 hour after any milk products. Do not chew or crush the bisacodyl tablet; swallow it whole with a full glass of water.
