Inform your health care provider you are taking a Corticosteroid before receiving any Vaccine. In some cases, Vaccines should not be given to persons taking a Corticosteroid for the treatment of a chronic inflammatory health condition like asthma or arthritis. Treatment with Vaccines may result in infection or other side effects in patients receiving Corticosteroids, especially long-term or high dose therapy. Discuss Vaccination options with your health care provider. Also, avoid contact with anyone who has recently received the oral poliovirus vaccine. Topical Corticosteroid products should not interact with Vaccines.
