What should I watch for while using this medicine?Visit your doctor for regular check ups. Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.You may get drowsy or dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not stand or sit up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. Alcohol may interfere with the effect of this medicine. Avoid alcoholic drinks. Heating this patch may change the amount of this medicine that you get from the patch. Avoid exposing the patch to heating pads, electric blankets, heat lamps, saunas, hot tubs, and heated water beds. Do not wear this patch on skin that gets hot from direct sunlight. If you are going to have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedure, tell your MRI technician if you have this patch on your body. It must be removed before a MRI. |
