  • fever over 103 degrees F
  • inconsolable crying for 3 hours or more
  • seizures
  • unusually weak or tired

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):

  • bruising, pain, swelling at site where injected
  • fussy
  • loss of appetite
  • low- grade fever
  • sleepy
  • vomiting
