What is this medicine?GEMTUZUMAB OZOGAMICIN (jem TOOZ oo mab OH zoe ga MYE sin) is a monoclonal antibody. This medicine changes the way the body's immune system works. By interfering with a specific protein, this medicine can stop cancer cell growth. It is used to treat acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions. How should I use this medicine?This medicine is for infusion into a vein.
