What is this medicine?ANTHRAX VACCINE, ADSORBED (AN thraks VAK seen, ad SAWRB) is a vaccine. It is used to prevent infections of anthrax. People at high risk for exposure include people that work with animals or animal by- products. Routine immunization with this vaccine is not recommended. This vaccine is not approved to prevent anthrax infection after exposure. How should I use this medicine?This vaccine is for injection under the skin or for injection into a muscle. It is given by a health care professional.Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed. Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others. What if I miss a dose?Keep appointments for follow- up (booster) doses as directed. It is important not to miss your dose.
