What should I watch for while using this medicine?Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse. Let your doctor know if you have pain, nasal congestion, or cough that gets worse or lasts for more than 7 days. Call your doctor if you have a fever that gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days. If you have a cough that lasts more than 2 days, if your cough comes back, or if it occurs with a fever, rash, headache, nausea, or vomiting see your doctor.You may get drowsy or dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not stand or sit up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. Alcohol may interfere with the effect of this medicine. Avoid alcoholic drinks. |
