By the way, the antibiotics have kicked in well and my recent infection has shrunk down to the size of a small walnut in my belly.  Wonder drug, them antibiotics!  I shudder to think that in the old days, they would have treated that thing with arsenic and a knife.

So while we're enjoying this day of rest from our usual routines, let's all take a few moments to celebrate modern medicine.  You know how important it is.  Otherwise you wouldn't be reading this blog ;)
