It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since the intrepid D-blogger and advocate Kim Vlasnik was inspired by Dan Savage's "It Gets Better" viral video campaign to create the equally awe-inspiring "You Can Do This!" campaign.

Kim's campaign has brought together dozens of videos, from type 1s to type 2s, children to adults, parents to D-celebs, all of whom want to let you know that even if you're struggling with diabetes... you can do this!

Amy and I contributed our homemade videos last summer, and now we're thrilled to debut the video from our newest team member, Mike!

Today isn't just the anniversary of the "You Can Do This" Project. It's also the LAST day to vote for the campaign to receive $2,000 from the Diabetes Hands Foundation's SEEDS micro-grant program. Folks show their support for individual proposals by clicking a Vimeo "Like"; posting a Facebook "Like"; tweeting about the video and/or giving it a +1 on Google.
