ADHD & Omega-3 Fatty Acids

New studies show a link between an increase in Omega-3 fatty acids and a decrease in hyperactive or inattentive behavior.  Many Children are not getting enough Omega-3 Fatty acids in their diets. Regular supplementation of Omega-3s, in the form of purified fish oils or flax oil, can help to alleviate the symptoms and behaviors associated with ADHD and serve as a cheap and easy alternative or addition to medication. 

Academics & ADHD
