StayWell Content Assets Now Available on Healthline Network

Collaboration Brings Comprehensive, World-Class StayWell Content to the Consumer Web

Yardley, PA and San Francisco, CA. February 12, 2008—StayWell, a division of MediMedia, today announced that it has licensed substantial portions of its leading health information content to Healthline Networks, a leading provider of intelligent health information services. This agreement includes deployment of StayWell's library of articles, tools and quizzes on Healthline's consumer facing health search portal, Healthline.com (http://www.healthline.com ), and to select partners within the Healthline Network.

"StayWell and Healthline share a commitment to provide up-to-date, trusted, and easy-to-understand health information to consumers, who – research has shown – are turning to the Internet for health information in greater numbers," said Michael Riley, Group President, StayWell. "We chose Healthline to be a consumer provider of our comprehensive StayWell content because the Healthline Medically Guided Search™ technology and user experience deliver superior results for health information seekers."

When Healthline applies its Medically Guided Search™ technology, content is transformed into richer, more dynamic web information, with added functionality such as contextual references, related search, and links to relevant resources. The result is that the health information seeker can usually find everything they need to know about a particular health topic with a single search.

"The Healthline Network provides trusted health information to more than 15 million consumers a month," said West Shell III, Chairman and CEO of Healthline Networks. "Now, as we rollout the StayWell articles, tools and quizzes, consumers will have access to the most comprehensive library of trusted information so they can make informed, empowered decisions about their health."

StayWell content is developed by teams of medical communication and patient education experts using standards of care to ensure scientific accuracy. All StayWell content is subjected to rigorous and ongoing review by medical experts and practicing professionals. The text is powerfully supported by a variety of art styles, including award-winning anatomical illustrations that clarify conditions and treatments.

The StayWell licensed content that will appear on Healthline.com and to select partners within the Healthline Network includes 3,500 original articles on wellness, diseases, conditions and prevention. Healthline has also introduced StayWell's 170 interactive tools, calculators and quizzes covering popular topics such as a BMI calculator, a breast cancer risk assessment, and questions and answers about managing diabetes. Healthline will incorporate the StayWell content to expand its Healthline Answers and Healthline Channels, adding hundreds of new articles on wellness and prevention-related health subjects.

Healthline Networks distributes its health search and content to a growing network of trusted destination sites including Ask.com, iVillage, Merriam Webster, SELF and US News & World Report. As a result of this agreement, these partners will also have access to the StayWell library of health information.
