Project Manager, Client Services
Reports to VP, Client Services
Opportunity
The Project Manager, Client Services will bear primary responsibility for managing the deployment of Healthline's portfolio of products and services to its growing roster of licensees. This requires close collaboration with Engineering, Business Development, and Product in planning and building solutions for new clients. This is a contract to hire position. Work with major media, internet and health companies as we manage and grow our partnerships out of our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Clients and our internal teams, i.e. Business Development, and Engineering, to identify best approach for implementation of client projects, given contractual obligations, technical constraints, and business goals for each party
- Produce statement of work (SOW) for each licensee, including tasks, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs
- Work closely with Engineering to track client deliverables, ensure that timelines are being met, and that project is being implemented as agreed upon in contract
- Communicate regularly on status and issues, both externally to clients and internally to Business Development
- Advise Client Services and Business Development on new sales opportunities with clients
- Work with Business Development to respond to Requests For Proposal (RFP) from prospective clients
Requirements/Experience
- Five (5) years professional services and/or project management experience
- Three years experience with Internet technologies and Web site production
- Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, both oral and written, and experience communicating to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding
- Superior management skills, including ability to juggle multiple balls, prioritize activities, and manage cross-functional resources
- Exceptional teamwork skills, both as team leader and team member
- Understanding of project management best practices
- Willingness to learn and ease in understanding new concepts in Internet technology
