Marketing Communications Manager
Opportunity
Healthline is looking for a superstar Marketing Communications Manager to join its Marketing Services team. This person will report to the Director, Corporate Communications, and will have a hand in all internal and external marketing communications related to this exciting, fast-growing company.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit presentations, sales and marketing collateral, web copy, e-mail broadcasts, newsletters, etc.
- Design and maintain corporate website, update news and product information
- Project manage outside creative teams, from concept to creation
- Manage Healthline's presence at conferences and tradeshows, including proactive management of the conference calendar, development of the tradeshow plan, onsite logistics, registrations, booth staff schedule, working with key stakeholders to define and execute key messages for each show, and conduct prep with booth staffers. Prepare an evaluation of tradeshow and execute on follow-up items upon completion.
- Maintain inventory of Healthline merchandise. Provide recommendations for new merchandise, as needed.
- Oversee the planning and execution of client events, nationwide.
- Work with the Ad Sales and Marketing Services teams to maximize Healthline's presence in various regional interactive advertising organizations such as 212, PhIMA, etc.
- Assist in planning/executing Healthline sales training sessions
- Act as a primary liaison between Ad Sales team and the Marketing Services team and execute on all Marcom deliverables related to advertising sales and network strategy
Requirements/Experience
- 3-7 years of advertising agency, design studio, publishing, project management and/or marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to write advertising copy, web promotions and event signage.
- Experience writing, editing and producing presentations and collateral.
- Direct experience in graphic design (samples should be provided); Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint skills are essential; fluency in MS Office strongly recommended
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; detail oriented, organized, socially aware
- Strong understanding of the creative process in all mediums, especially print and web.
- Excellent project management skills, with an eye for efficacy, budget, and deadlines.
- Keen understanding of relevant cultural and advertising trends.
- Strong sense of accountability and deadlines; you take pride in your accomplishments and want to contribute to the success of your team.
- The ability to work independently and to be resourceful in a fast paced, start-up environment.
Educational background:
BA in marketing, public relations, or similar communications degree.
