Client Services Manager

Opportunity
The Client Services Manager (CSM) is responsible for managing relationships with Healthline's (HL) growing number of clients, which represent some of the world’s largest media companies, portals, health plans, and health information providers. These strategic partners - HL's "network" - have chosen HL's leading health information services platform to power their consumer-facing health sites. The CSM will utilize his/her professional services background and consulting skills to serve these clients and deepen HL's relationship with them.
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep understanding of client's business to identify how HL's products and services can provide high-value solutions.
- Generate incremental revenue from existing clients by selling additional products and services.
- Establish relationships with key buying influencers across the partner's organization.
- Develop account plans and strategies to meet revenue expectations.
- Collaborate with Finance to develop revenue forecasts and report on monthly or quarterly revenue generated from client relationships.
- Create and/or obtain reports, as needed, to understand performance of partner relationships.
- During client implementation and launch, interact proactively with Product and Engineering teams to ensure implementation is progressing on time and on budget.
- Work with Product and Engineering to resolve customer issues and respond to client requests; "project manage" issue resolution, as needed.
- Continuously communicate with clients on implementation progress and issue resolution.
- Participate in new Business Development proposals as needed.
- Be an advocate for clients to ensure that their needs are understood and addressed by fellow Healthline team members.
Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree; MBA or Masters preferred
- Ideal candidate will have at least 3-6 years of professional services experience, preferably with major management consulting firm
- Experience with Internet advertising and/or SEO/SEM; interest in healthcare a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with MS-Excel and willingness to dive into complex spreadsheets of revenue and usage data.
- Strong consulting skills; ability to quickly build credibility and relationships among executives and peers, across multiple levels of client organizations.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated presentation skills and experience.
- Ability to learn HL products and business drivers in a short period of time.
- Willingness to learn and ease in understanding new concepts in Internet technology.
- Strong management skills, including ability to juggle multiple tasks and to manage cross-functional resources.
- Exceptional leadership skills, both as team leader and team member.
- Superior ability to prioritize multiple demands and use good judgment.
- Requires ability to travel 10-25%.
