"its really been scaring a lot of our local neighborhood kids and i know that one of my coworkers was just so worried she had nervous knots and everything last night at work." we caught up with parents at this morning's albuquerque aloft at rio ranch elementary who are wondering what to do if their child gets sick. today the state health department and homeland security held a press conference hoping to emphasize that most children who get sick don't need to go to the doctor. "i think it's really worrying everybody but as long as you know we keep on top of it and wash our hands and teach the kids how to stay clean and stuff, hopefully it will stay out of our school more." the department of health says if your child develops serious symptoms -- for instan they start thinking strangely and can't keep down liquids, along with a very high fever -- take them to the doctor immediately.
