Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, CSSD

Hello Diet Dish readers. I have some news to share. My friend and colleague Tara Gidus, MS, RD, CSSD will be taking over the Diet Dish. Tara is a fellow spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, a nationally known nutrition expert (you may have seen her on national TV as The Diet Diva on the Daily Buzz or on iVillage), a fantastic communicator, and all around one of my favorite people on the planet. I’ve enjoyed reading her posts on the
American Dietetic Association Spokesperson’s blog and I’m thrilled that she’ll be the one to pick up where I left off.
I have accepted a position as the Nutrition Director at
Prevention Magazine and will be relocating to New York City. I’m thrilled to become one of the only full time registered dietitians on staff at a major magazine and I’m excited about my responsibilities. I’ll be writing columns in the magazine, developing lots of interactive online content, nutrition and healthy eating videos and books, and much, much more. I’ll also be back in my home state and close to my family, including my little apple, my beautiful goddaughter.
I have SO enjoyed communicating with you through the Diet Dish! I will really miss it, but I hope you’ll look for me in the pages of Prevention Magazine and on Prevention.com.
Be well, thank you for reading, and tune in for Tara! Sincerely,
Cynthia
